Dress Passions is an independent editorial guide to dresses and handbags. The site began as an affiliate website more than a decade ago. Today, it returns to those same two categories with a focus on quality, versatility, and accessorability.
Quality asks us to look closely at the materials and the finished piece. Versatility asks where it belongs in an actual day. Accessorability asks how a change of handbag, proportion, or texture can make the familiar feel different.
Price is part of a decision, but it does not answer those questions by itself. We are interested in helping you recognize useful details and imagine combinations that reflect your own taste.
How we approach our guides
Our launch edition offers original buying and styling guidance. These articles are not hands-on product reviews. When we discuss individual products in future editions, we will distinguish retailer-provided information from observations based on firsthand use.
We use illustrative fashion imagery to explore shapes, colors, and combinations. It does not establish how a real product fits or performs. Read about the images or our editorial and affiliate approach.
